So when we moved to Nashville, I was happy b/c in the city we came from, both the LSS and Archivers closed before we moved :( But Nashville had an Archivers! And it was close to our house, which was great :D

Well, I found out this week that they are closing :( I don't think the store was even open a year. They really didn't give it much of a chance. I'm sooooo sad. Now there isn't an LSS here. There are a few waaaaaay far away, like hours away, in small towns, but that's not practical.

Boo-hoo :cry:

I've met a few scrappy friends here and we are going for one last crop next weekend. The store closes Oct. 20, I think. So soon!

Do you have an LSS?

That's terrible! I don't have any LSS near me, but I just got an email yesterday that Cord Camera in Columbus is closing. That's where we travel to when shopping. (2 hrs. away)

Not all of them are closing. My email only mentioned the 'Graceland' location.

That's too bad it is closing. That happened to the Achivers about 45 minutes away from me--it closed in March! :(
I didn't buy much there, but it was always fun to look!

I've made a couple of scrappy friends and we went for our last crop there on Friday night. We are going to start scrapping at each other's houses, but it's just not the same! Like I brought some photos to work on with a kit, but when I went to scrap them, they didn't match the paper at all :roll: So I shopped in the store for some paper that would look better and it was just fun and easy to be able to do that. I guess now we'll have to shop in each other's stashes :lol:

Boo hoo. I left the store feeling very sad since I probably won't have a chance to come back in there before they close. :cry:

Alissa, we must live very close as the Brentwood Archiver's was my store too! Archiver's closed 5 stores including the Mall of America location which really surprised me. I am still just devastated that mine/ours closed. It was only open for 2 years, I remember that only because I was in hospital delivering my 6th when it opened and I was sad to miss opening day! Did you sign up for the Oh Scrap FB site?

Sorry I'm just seeing this! Yes! I did sign up for the FB group when I was in there the last day. I'm hoping they post some more crops and things after Christmas is over. I know this is a busy time of year, but I miss them! :(
