Do you have a dish like that?

Christmas cookies and of course, Buckeyes! The plan is to make the Buckeyes tonight. My kids are home for Christmas break (Yea! It is so great to have them home!) and it is something we do together.
Christmas morning is an egg casserole and last year I made a French toast that was baked in the oven to go along with it. It is a new tradition now.

I have a cookie that has strawberry jam in it that we only make at Christmas. Not sure why we only make them then, but we love them!

Cranberry Salad here too Alissa! Plus, Pineapple Casserole and Broccoli Casserole. I don't know why I don't make them other times of the year!

I usually make sweet potato and apple casserole for Christmas - sometimes for Thanksgiving, too.

Mostly the cookies, fudge, etc. we make are for Christmas. Most of the other foods we have throughout the year.

Ruth, it has pineapple and cheese in it. Sounds weird, but it's yummy with ham. I'm on my phone, but I'll try to remember to post the recipe.

Soooo yummy! It's 2 cans of pineapple chunks (drained), 1 cup sugar, 5 tablespoons flour, 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 1 stick butter, 1 stack Ritz Crackers (crushed). Mix pineapple, sugar, & flour together. Pour into a casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese over pineapple. Sprinkle Ritz crackers on top of cheese. Drizzle melted butter over all. Bake @ 350* for 30 minutes.
